Modeling & mapping genomic variation

Contact me for code & data from Fitzpatrick & Keller (2015) Ecology Letters.

Generalized Dissimilarity Modelling (GDM)

(1) With Simon Ferrier, Glenn Manion, and others, we are developing a GDM package for R. You can find the developmental version on GitHub.

(2) GDM scripts & data for modeling beta diversity and testing the relative importance of space & environment (as described in Fitzpatrick et al. 2013). Script/data links go to Dryad:

R scripts and data (note that the code uses a previous version of GDM, available HERE)

Modeling the spread of invasive species

(1) While at Harvard Forest, I wrote a script for a stochastic spread simulation that combines local & long distance dispersal with climate-driven population dynamics to predict range expansion (as described in Fitzpatrick et al. 2012). While written specific to hemlock woolly adelgid, the script can be customized for most any spreading organism, including range shifts under climate change. Links to script / data got to Harvard Forest LTER data archive.

Analyzing and modeling species distributions

(1) R scripts for running species distribution models in parallel, as implemented in a comparison of Maxent and Maxlike (described in Fitzpatrick et al. 2013).

(2) R scripts for estimating niche overlap between pairs of species (as described in Broennimann, Fitzpatrick and Pearman et al. 2012).
